Technology has
changed the way people communicate with each other. Social media and the online platform change
the traditional constraints of mass media.
News production and broadcasting, even when published online, are influenced
by time constraints. Tools available for
communication in the workplace included email, instant messaging, voice mail,
faxing, and paging. Digital devices
allow employees to access information stored on the company intranet to access
organizational memory in stored graphics and documents. The data is used to
send electronic mail messages and seek advice when needed (Oldman & Da
Silva, 2015).
